Tropicana Sur
Tropicana Sur Beach
Sosúa, 5 minutes east of Tropicana Sur, is located on a crescent-shaped bay, whose
beautiful, golden sandy beach forms a wonderful contrast to the deep, turquoise-blue
water with a white sandy bottom. Beach tourism in the Dominican Republic, which is
still increasing today, began in this area of the north coast. Playa Sosúa is known for
the hustle and bustle in the numerous local and international bars, restaurants and
shops.
